Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo sees a lot of similarities between the Utah Jazz and last season's Milwaukee team.
The two-time reigning MVP, who led the Bucks to the NBA's top record last campaign, called the Jazz the "best team in the West" after a 129-115 loss to Utah on Friday.
"It just looks fun. When I watch them play, it looks fun, it looks easy," Antetokounmpo told reporters postgame, including ESPN's Eric Woodyard. "It looks simple. For sure, they look like us last year, and man, when you're at that point and you're playing with that confidence, you're hard to beat, for sure."
The Jazz improved to a franchise-best and league-leading 21-5 start following their sixth straight victory. They've won 17 of their past 18 contests, including a pair of wins against Milwaukee.
Six different Jazz players are averaging double digits in scoring while Rudy Gobert and Jordan Clarkson are among the leading candidates for Defensive Player of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, respectively.
Utah is also the only team ranked within the top five in both offensive and defensive efficiency, though head coach Quin Snyder isn't getting ahead of himself.
"Nobody is beating their chest about anything that we've done," Snyder said. "Frankly, you never want to do that, and it's never appropriate unless you're the last team standing. That's something we'll continue to try to avoid."
